Brilliant!

I loved this book, it really twisted with my mind and had me wanting to scream and throw my kindle at times. I really liked all the characters except for one and I absolutely despised her! I never say much in my reviews so I don't give anything away but I highly recommend this one if you want something to read that will make you not want to put it down and have your emotions all over the place in a good way. (Or you decide if that will be in a good way or not lol) 5 stars from me.

5 Dark, Demented, Twisted Stars!

Blue Hill Road is a dark, demented, and twisted psychological thriller, that will have you questioning your own sanity. At least it did me, because this was not an easy book to read. It was gruesome at times, and crossed the line from “reality to fiction” causing my mind to question what was real and what wasn’t. Just as I thought I knew what was going on, the book would take a left turn and we would be on a new, bumpy road.

The writing was evocative, captivating and sucked me in. It was no-holds-bar. Don’t go into Blue Hill Road expecting hearts, flowers and unicorns, because you will be sorely disappointed. But for me, that is what I LOVED about it. It was different, it was unique. It was brutal at times, but unbelievably, beneath the harshness lays a love story, all-be-it a sick one.
❝I won't ever forget you, Hellen. I'll always do whatever it takes to remember you. And if I ever find your doppelgänger, then I'm making her my best friend.❞
This is not a romance, it is a thriller with a whole lot of steam and dare I say, heart? My heart broke for our main character. That prologue gutted me. And as I continued to read I felt so much emotion for him. I hated him, cared about him, loved him, I felt the gamut of emotions. A true sign of spectacular writing.
I can’t tell you what the book is about without spoiling it, going in blind is absolutely the best way to experience this book. The blurb is enough.
There were quite a few characters in this book, but the one I loved the most (besides the main character) was grandma! She was amazing. What a brilliant character. There were a few others that I wanted to slap – LEESA, WTF?!?

Blue Hill Blood certainly isn’t a book to skip if you like thrillers. From the solid plot to the character development this book is a standout! 5 amazing stars!

I SURVIVED BLUE HILL BLOOD AND LOVED IT!!!!!!

I SURVIVED BLUE HILL BLOOD. Ohmygod! This book rocked my whole foundation. Such a delightfully twisted, thrilling, gruesome at times, suspenseful, and wickedly awesome book. It has taken me a few days to truly process the evil world that Elizabth Gray (aka K. Webster) has created in this book. Henry is the main character and a very talented author striving to get over his writer's block, so he can be get his next book out. He travels to Blue Hill and is inspired by the many people he happens across. That barely even touches on the depth in which he submerges himself into the Blue Hill community, but I don't want to give anything away!
The twists and turns let me breathless and craving for more. I am a puzzle person. I love to solve mysteries and this one I could not figure out until the very end. I am usually pretty good at figuring things out, but Ms. Gray had so many components to the story that you didn't know which direction it was going to go! I mean on the edge of my damn seat for most of this read. It was nail biting until the very END and I mean the very end.
The story is easy to follow and flows very easily, but the characters are so complex and will have you freaking the f$%^ out at times. Don't misunderstand me, the plot is INTENSE AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. This book floored me. I was transported back in time to when I used to read King, Patterson and Koontz. I loved the intensity of my fear and many times was left wondering what would come next. I am being so super careful not to give any spoilers away because you will JUST DIE when you read this book in it's entirety. I mean shocks, twists and biggest, WTF moments. Seriously I need a t-shirt that reads "I survived Blue Hill Blood". FANTASTIC READ!!!
